When I first started my career, it cost me about $6 per day to go out for lunch with my coworkers.  Many years later, that cost has risen to $10 or more per day.

Assuming 20 work days per month, that money can add up to over $200 or more.

On the other hand, the cost of professional 3D printing systems has come down considerably in the past few years.  Consider the Stratasys Mojo.  It’s a truly professional 3D machine, capable of making parts up to 5″ x 5″ x 5″, out of durable ABS plastic.  The patented heated build chamber assures that your parts will be accurate.

The cost of this system is less than $10,000.  While this may still seem like a lot of money, consider that a 60 month lease for $10,000 comes out to be under $200 per month.  Hmmm?

So, if you pack your lunch, you can afford your own professional 3D printer.  And once you start seeing the financial benefits of implementing this technology into your process, it won’t take long before the other savings and additional revenue you generate will give you enough extra cash to go out to lunch again!
